New River straddles Interstate 17, which is the main route north out of Phoenix towards Flagstaff. Trucks throw gravel on that stretch and the traffic runs fast. A chip near an edge or in your line of sight does not stay a chip for long in this heat, and out here it is a long drive to get it looked at, which is a good argument for having us come to you.

Manufactured homes, yes, the glass comes out much like a site-built house. On some older mobile homes the glass cannot be removed without disturbing the frame, and where that is the case we will tell you on the phone rather than after driving out.

New River takes its name from the river that runs through it, and for most of its history it was known for one thing: it was where the pavement ended. The old Black Canyon Highway, the road north out of Phoenix that eventually became Interstate 17, ran out of asphalt here, and New River was the last stop before the dirt.
It has never incorporated and shows no sign of wanting to. New River is a census-designated place in northern Maricopa County: no mayor, no town hall, and large-lot zoning that has kept it rural while the rest of the county filled in around it.
